The World Cocoa Foundation, in partnership with Palladium and other stakeholders, has launched the Deforestation-Free Cocoa Initiative (DFCI) in Ondo State. Aimed at promoting sustainable cocoa farming and forest preservation, the initiative underscores the importance of implementing traceability systems, providing farmer training, and adopting climate-smart agricultural practices.
The goal is to achieve a future of deforestation-free cocoa production.
