Two U.S. astronauts, who have been stationed on the International Space Station (ISS) for over nine months, are set to return to Earth on Tuesday evening, according to NASA. The astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, will be traveling alongside another American astronaut and a Russian cosmonaut.
Their journey back to Earth will be aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft, which recently docked at the ISS. The return is part of routine crew rotations facilitated by joint efforts of NASA and SpaceX under the agency’s Commercial Crew Program.
