Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri has asserted that no single individual holds supremacy over the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as internal leadership disputes continue to trouble the opposition party. The governor’s comments were made during the induction of the South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee at the PDP’s national headquarters in Abuja.

Amidst these leadership challenges, Diri emphasized the importance of collective efforts in addressing and resolving the party’s issues. The remarks highlight ongoing tensions within the PDP, as party members and factions vie for influence and control ahead of future political contests.
