The Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has successfully trained over 8,000 women entrepreneurs on digitalisation and other key business skills since 2019. The initiative aims to strengthen women’s participation in trade by enhancing their capabilities in areas such as packaging and labeling.
The training sessions are part of NEPC’s efforts to promote inclusive growth and boost the export readiness of female-led businesses in Nigeria. This program, which commenced a few years ago, aligns with the council’s broader goal of diversifying Nigeria’s export base and enhancing the global competitiveness of its products.
