The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has reported 563 confirmed cases of Lassa fever out of 2,960 suspected instances. This disease has resulted in 103 deaths as of March 9, 2025. The update pertains to Week 10 and highlights the hemorrhagic fever’s incidence in 14 states and 78 local government areas.

The NCDC is concentrating on monitoring the disease’s spread and taking measures to control its impact across the affected regions.
