Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, Chairman of the Senate Interparliamentary Committee, has dismissed the petition filed by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) as ineffective. The matter revolves around political disputes involving Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central and has been engaged in a conflict with Senate leadership, specifically Akpabio.

According to Ibrahim’s statement on Thursday in Abuja, the petition is unlikely to progress through the IPU channels. This development follows ongoing tensions and political maneuvering among Nigerian lawmakers.
