Former Formula One team owner Eddie Jordan has passed away at the age of 76. Jordan, who was also known for his work as a television pundit and entrepreneur, died in Cape Town after a year-long battle with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

The Irishman’s cancer, initially diagnosed as bladder and prostate cancer, had spread to his spine and pelvis. Eddie Jordan was a prominent figure in the motorsport world, known for his role as owner of the Jordan Grand Prix racing team, which was active in Formula One from 1991 to 2005.

A Legacy in Motorsport

Jordan’s death marks the end of an era for many in the F1 community, where he was celebrated not only for his team management but also for his candid television presentations post-retirement.
