The Federal Government of Nigeria is engaging with foreign airlines to address the escalating cost of air travel for both domestic and international routes. This initiative was announced by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, during a ministerial press briefing in Abuja.

In addition to tackling fare increases, the government is also focusing on enhancing airport safety and security measures, which could influence travel efficiency and passenger experience.
