The Federal Government of Nigeria, in partnership with the Office of the First Lady, has allocated N26 million to empower women farmers in Nasarawa State. This initiative, conducted through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, aims to enhance food production in anticipation of the upcoming rainy season.
Women from all 13 local government areas in Nasarawa have been targeted for this empowerment program, which seeks to bolster agricultural activity and improve food security in the region.
