The Federal Government has approved the allocation of N32.8 billion aimed at enhancing primary healthcare services across the nation. This financial support, earmarked from the Basic Health Care Provision Fund, is set to be utilized in the first quarter of the 2025 fiscal year.
The funds will be managed and distributed through key health institutions, namely the National Health Insurance Authority, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to bolster healthcare infrastructure and improve access to essential health services for communities across Nigeria.
