Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has officially left the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP). This move comes as the APC gears up for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Despite El-Rufai’s defection, the APC leadership in the South-East, represented by National Vice Chairman Ijeomah Arodiogbu, maintains that Tinubu’s campaign and the party’s prospects for the next election remain stable and unaffected.
