The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has charged two officials from Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Works with fraud involving N1.93 billion. The funds in question were designated for acquiring land titles for federal roads between March 2019 and July 2020.

The EFCC alleges that the allocated funds were misappropriated during this period. This development underscores ongoing efforts by the EFCC to address financial misconduct within public offices in Nigeria. The case will continue as the officials face legal proceedings.
