Rivers State’s newly appointed Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-ete Ibas (retired), has officially commenced his duties following his arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport. Landing at approximately 11:25 am on Thursday, Ibas was welcomed by various senior officials and security personnel.
The purpose of his visit included holding a crucial security meeting at the Government House, underscoring the immediate priorities of his administration in addressing regional security concerns. The meeting featured the presence of key figures like the state Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to enhancing security measures in the state.
