A Federal High Court in Abuja is scheduled to hear a case on May 7 concerning allegations of certificate forgery against Mrs. Odom Anita, a Director at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA). The allegations were brought forward by Mr. Njoku Ifeanyichukwu, who claimed there are discrepancies in the educational certificates of the FCDA Director.
Justice Binta Nyako, overseeing the case, has allowed the University of Port Harcourt to submit relevant documents, including admission records and graduation certificates, which are essential to the proceedings. The court requires these records to determine the authenticity of the Director’s credentials as part of the lawsuit.
The plaintiff seeks a legal directive for the FCDA and the University of Port Harcourt to furnish the Director’s necessary academic and service records. The legal action aims to address suspected inconsistencies that may affect the validity of the Director’s professional qualifications at the FCDA.
