The Obuoro Ibere community in the Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State has formally denied any involvement in the recent death of Mr. Okezie Onyema Onyendu, a local resident. Onyendu, who worked as a commercial motorcyclist, was attacked and killed by unknown assailants in Amawom village. The incident occurred around 1 am on March 7, when he was reportedly ambushed and dispossessed by the attackers.

The local community has distanced itself from the crime and vowed to assist in ongoing investigations to identify those responsible for the attack. The incident has sparked security concerns among residents as authorities proceed with their investigation into the matter.
