The Ekiti State Government has allocated over N1 billion to support 3,000 Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative is part of the Ekiti CARES Results Area 3 programme, developed in collaboration with the World Bank.

The funding aims to assist these enterprises in overcoming financial challenges imposed by the pandemic, promoting economic recovery and stability in the region. The distribution of funds is a strategic effort to bolster the state’s economy by empowering small businesses, ensuring they can sustain operations and retain workforce levels amid ongoing economic uncertainties.
