The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has assured that there are no shortages of HIV medication in Nigeria, countering recent concerns raised by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The WHO had warned that Nigeria, along with seven other countries, might experience shortages of essential HIV drugs due to a temporary halt in foreign aid from the United States. NACA’s statement aims to reassure those dependent on these life-saving treatments that the current stock levels are adequate to meet the demand.
