The Nigerian Senate has strongly refuted claims made by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan regarding her alleged impending arrest upon returning from an Inter-Parliamentary Union event in New York. According to the Senate’s spokesperson, Adeyemi Adaramodu, there is no involvement or motive from either the Senate President Godswill Akpabio or the Senate itself concerning such allegations.

The Senate’s statement intends to dispel any concerns and emphasize its non-engagement in the purported actions mentioned by Akpoti-Uduaghan.
