The statement allegedly demands the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and threatens a shutdown if President Bola Tinubu does not comply.
Abaribe, formerly the Senate Minority Leader, has denied any involvement with this viral message, seeking to distance himself from its content and implications.
