The Nigeria Customs Service has successfully intercepted 1,149 jerrycans of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) at the Taraba-Cameroon border. The interception occurred along the Dorofi and Kan Iyaka axis of the Gembu-Cameroon border in Taraba State. The operation was announced by the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi, during a public auction of the confiscated petroleum products.
This action is part of ongoing efforts to curb smuggling activities and ensure the secure distribution of fuel within Nigeria’s borders. The public auction is aimed at managing the seized goods while supporting tighter customs enforcement in the region.
