The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has reported the seizure of over 100 truckloads of substandard, falsified, and banned medicines and narcotics across major markets in Nigeria. NAFDAC’s heightened enforcement activities aim to combat the distribution of fake drugs and ensure the safety of medications available to the public. This operation demonstrates ongoing efforts to protect public health by curbing the availability of dangerous and ineffective drugs in the market.
